If you've found your way to this page then you might also be suffering from the lesser known "invisible illness", you might be looking to learn more about them or you're just here for some light reading. Whatever the reason, welcome!

I am a medical sciences student at the University of Exeter and this summer has changed my life. If I had pictured myself writing a blog in the past I had hoped it would be one with a more uplifting topic, maybe an exotic travel blog or something relating to my first (and only) love: food. But when life gives you lemons... I guess you post about it online.

So pull up a chair, grab a cuppa and get ready to share this journey with me. We're only just getting started!
